Yeah, how's Star Ocean 3 treating you Xel? You hit the major plot "twist" yet?

Yeah. Just beat the game, in fact. Using Mirage/Nel/Maria(Controlled Maria)

The plot's not as abd as people say, but it's nothing spectacular either. The gameplay makes up for it however.

Study... I wa out for a short time, and my face freezed down, during wind blew into my face like cold daggers. It's getting a lil' chilly out there...

I just button bashed my way through the game, so in that respect i dont think the gameplay is all that special. I was enjoying the story, right until i hit the 4D twist, at which point i was tired of the characters anyway...
And yet, i liked the game, it had an epic feel to it, the in-game graphics were highly detailed, and there were a lot of side-quests and mini-games to keep you busy. It had very high production values.

Maria's fun to control, but Nel and Mirage are even more fun.

Compare to any other Action RPG I've played, it's tied with Kingdom Hearts for best battle system.

I agree, the characters are pretty lame. The only ones I liked were Nel, Cliff, and Maria and Cliff and Nel had zero backstory...
